In 12 1/2 hours I will be 18!
YAHOOOO So the past couple days I have been looking back on what all God has given me, taken away from me, showing me, etc. I have realized that God is more loving and generous than I thought. He gave me a wonderful
child-hood. A wonderful
family. Wonderful
friends. God gave me an awesome summer in Philly last year. With an awesome team I might add,
Ally, Kaitlin, Lauren, Mel, Sarah, Steph, Dayspring & Serina. He put people in my life that I absolutely
love to death. He gave me
new best friends. My Philly team, Robby, Chelsea (wifey), Caitlin (C-Cat), Mark, Sarah, Kelly (Mariah Carey), Kevin, Heather (I-Zo), Kristina, Sabrina, and a ton more! 
WOW, He is just so great.

But not just the good. God took from me my grandmother, Pauline, fondly called
Nanner. :] I was closer to her than anyone else in my family or friends. She battled with cancer since 2001. God took her home June 2006. She had Stage 4 lymphoma cancer. As
hard as it was,
and most defiantly
still is, I know that I was selfish to want to keep her here while she was in so much pain! I now see it as a difficult blessing in disguise. Simply because she is not in pain. Actually, I am jealous of her.
She now has what every Christian lives for.
Spending eternity with our Saviour and God! Still, all I can say, in the crying because of missing her, laughing at the corky things she used to do, and even though I hated it while she was here,
her smell of those
Salem Ultra Light 100's. :] Not by walking next to someone smoking them but going through toted things that hold smell and smelling it on her many
Vanity Fair gowns and matching robes is,
WOW, He is just so great.

So as my last day of being a, child, if you will, I am going to take this day for what it's worth.
Everything! We never know when we are going to go home to be with God. We never know when we are going to be taken from this life and put into
eternal life!

After everything we go through, everything we are spared from, all we need to do now, as Christians, is
praise God and seize the day!
