On Tuesday night, a bunch of us went to the Manchester Cathedral for a prayer vigil. The vigil was put on by this orginazation called HOPE '08. The purpose of the orginization is to unite the UK to spread the Gospel through work in communities. Currently there are 997 regions countrywide registered to take part in HOPE '08 and the goal was 500! Tuesday night there were 11 of those regions present. Another part of this is to get churches to start groups that explain the Gospel. If each church in 2008 gets at least 5 non-Christian people in these groups then that is a total of over 2000 non-Christian's taking part in a Christian course!

Through the rest of this year and all of next, please pray for:   

• the communities
• church unity
• the organizations involved
• HOPE '08
• that God will raise up people for His kingdom
