Finally! We are here. After sleeping on ply-wood, visa/passport problems, team builders and traveling...we made it.

Sorry there have not been any posts since training camp but we do not have internet at our house yet so we have been having to go to the library. Which has not happened often. Believe me, it is not fun. :D I think God is teacing me that life is quite hard without MySpace and Facebook but it does go on! HAHA :D Just kidding.

I have already grown a custom to drinking a lot of tea. With milk. :D But it is good. Quite tasty. And let us not forget the peanut butter. Yuck! I sure do love peanut butter but it is not very good here. (Mom, if you are reading this...send some over!) :D

Last night we participated in our very first ministry. It is called the Eden Bus. It is quite different than something in the states. Not something that I am used too but am doing. On the way there I and one of the leaders got eggs smashed on our heads. That was quite disgusting. We (the whole team) also got rocks and a brick thrown at us. It was the beginnings of a lovely night!

And just as I said things couldn't get worse...it did! We got a little bit of the glorious English rain. Normally it doesn't rain at an angle, only down, but last night...it rained at an angle! We had kids cussing at us. Saying words that I would never here and should never hear kids their age saying. But alas, I will be going back next week.

Time to go now. The library is about to kick me off. I will be posting again in about a week or so. Hopefully we will have internet by then but if not, back to the library! :D
